Youth Essay (Grades 6–8)

Patriot's Pen

An annual youth essay competition. Patriot's Pen invites young writers to draft a 300–400 word essay on an annual patriotic theme. Top winners receive scholarships at local, district, state, and national levels.

Scholarship (Grades 9–12)

Voice of Democracy

An audio-essay scholarship program for high school students, giving young Americans an opportunity to express themselves on democratic principles. National winners receive substantial scholarships.
